A Special Closed Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 immediately following the Committee of the Whole Meeting to be held at 1:15 p.m. at the Town Hall, Council Chambers, 810 9th Ave. S., Golden, BC
Pursuant to Section 90.(1) of the Community Charter, the meeting be closed to the public on the basis that the subject matter of all agenda items to be considered related to matters listed under Section 90.(1)(k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public, and Section 90.(1)(n) the consideration of whether a council meeting should be closed under a provision of this subsection or subsection (2). |

Pursuant to Section 90.(1) of the Community Charter, the meeting be closed to the public on the basis that the subject matter of all agenda items to be considered related to matters listed under Section 90.(1)(c) labour relations or other employee relations, Section 90.(1)(e) the acquisition, disposition or expropriation of land or improvements, if the council considers that disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality and Section 90.(1)(k) negotiations and related discussions respecting the proposed provision of a municipal service that are at their preliminary stages and that, in the view of the council, could reasonably be expected to harm the interests of the municipality if they were held in public. |
