| One of the many opportunities for visitors to Golden is to stay right in Golden at the Municipal
Campground. Our Campground is located at 1407 9th Street South, next to the Kicking Horse River, and across the road from Golden's municipal swimming pool. Nearby attractions also include horseshoe pits, skateboard park, and tennis courts, along with numerous hiking and biking trails just to name a few.
There are 70 sites, some treed, 35 with power, and many with water service as well. There are hot showers and picnic shelters. The newest shelter was constructed by College of the Rockies students as part of the Timber Framing program offered at their Kimberley campus.
The nightly camping costs are very reasonable and can be viewed at the website link below. Reservations are accepted via e-mail, the Golden Municipal Campground website, or by phone.
Call toll free 1-866-538-6625 or locally @ (250) 344-5412 or e-mail campground @ town.golden.bc.ca. Please see the campground's website linked below for further information. |
