Convention PlanningGolden's location on the Trans Canada Highway and growing tourism sector have resulted in numerous and a wide range of tourist accommodation.From backcountry lodges, accessible only by helicopter to hotels with global affiliations and everything in between, there is accommodation for every type of traveler. Many of the facilities have space suitable for conventions. The Golden and District Chamber of Commerce has information on many of the commercial establishments. Several community facilities are also available for events and conferences. The Golden Civic Centre, Seniors' Centre and Mount Seven Recplex, Golden Arena and Golden Curling Club are some of the facilities available for events.
