On behalf of the Town of Golden and its council, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our town's website. Golden is a wonderful place to live; not only do our children want to stay here to work and raise their families, people come for a visit and stay for a lifetime......

Communicating with Council

Please note that all correspondence submitted to the Town of Golden Council unless otherwise deemed by the Corporate Officer as confidential by nature, will form part of the public record and will be published in a meeting agenda to ratify its receipt and determine the scope and nature of any response. The Town considers the author’s address relevant to Council’s consideration of the matter put forward and will disclose this information.  The Corporate Officer shall not forward to Council any correspondence not submitted by an identifiable person or entity.

Correspondence to the Town of Golden through social media is accepted, processed, and responded to by administration and is not to be construed as official correspondence to and from Town Council.
