| The Town was incorporated on June 26, 1957. We provide municipal services, such as water, sewer, road maintenance and fire protection to people and businesses. We issue business licenses, dog licenses and we collect taxes for the Town of Golden.
Although taxes are collected by the Town, municipal taxes are just one component of the tax bill, which includes school taxes, hospital taxes and others.
Residents of Golden can apply for the Home Owners Grant on line by following this redirected link. Applications can still be brought in person to the Town Office.
