Visiting
Golden is located on Highway 1, the Trans Canada Highway, about three hours west of Calgary, Alberta by road. It's also at the northern terminus of Highway 95, connecting to the United States about 4 hours north of the Montana border.
| Two airports with regularly scheduled flights, Calgary International, to the east, and Canadian Rockies International, south of Golden, are located about 3 hours by road from the Town. The Town of Golden operates a municipal airport, which has a runway 4500 feet in length. |
