Weather
Winter brings enough snow that the ski hill, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, located just 14 km from the Town boasts of their "champagne powder."
| Spring brings forth lush forest growth, prompting some to compare the vistas with Ireland.
Summers are warm and dry. In the evenings, influenced by the mountains, the temperature cools off.
Some enjoy the fall above all other seasons. The hillsides glow gold as the trees lose their leaves.
